Barnegat Light is situated on the northern tip of Long Beach Island. We are a quaint, family oriented seashore town. We have something to offer to everyone. The Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is a popular destination for climbing the lighthouse, picnicking and fishing. We offer beautiful spacious beaches, excellent surf fishing, bay fishing and crabbing. 2025 Beach Badge Update
We have received all of our 2025 badges (Holiday, Season, Senior & Veteran)! All orders, both mail-ins and badges that were purchased in person, have been processed and are ready to be picked up. Just a reminder- Borough Hall will be closed Tuesday December 24th, Wednesday December 25th & Wednesday January 1st.
